NoManic Monday Movie- How to Train for a Trek Wisdom from the Documentary Film Crew Itself

NoManic Monday Movie- How to Train for a Trek Wisdom from the Documentary Film Crew Itself

Meet them for yourself. Why would these people push so hard to share a story, a lifestyle that they believe to be worth telling about? What makes people say, “Yes, I want to the world to know about this and I have the perfect art form in which to share it with?” Well, our film crew this week is sharing how they ‘meated up’ and got ready to face the challenges of recording quality footage while in high altitudes and hiking in insanely hard terrain. They are, well, our heroes. Enjoy the preparatory thoughts of our dearest Angela, Noah, and Erin.  We’ll be adding more of their series each week on Mondays! It’s what we wait for each week. When we were in Greece in miserably confused, we waited for our Monday picker upper, and while stressing out at Kobi’s parents’ house, it was the Monday Movie from The Nomadic Family Project that grounded us! LOOOOve these guys TO DEATH!!!! They just started their second Kickstarter Campaign to fund recording our return and acclimation...

NoManic Monday Movie- Meet the Crew of The Nomadic Family Project

Now you’ll get to see why we love these people so passionately. Who devotes their life to something they believe in because they believe in it, regardless of the financial burden it may cause. Wow! So meet Angela (our hero who lives for telling our story) and her crew in the hood, Noah and Erin. And yes, this is before they hung out with us and nearly died on the Annapurna Circuit. Later, they look much more frazzled! (Ha, ha ha, ha….. evilness!)  We’ll be adding more of their series each week on Mondays! They just started their second Kickstarter Campaign to fund recording our return and acclimation back into ‘normal’ Israeli life. NoManic Monday Movie- At the Airport (Both Satanic and Beautiful)

And for your total smile of the day viewing pleasure, our children (we’re shameless) attacking people and taking great joy in it. Of course parental supervision comes up. Naturally, there should be a responsible parent around, but thing is (and this is a big thing) there ain’t. We couldn’t stop laughing over this one. Enjoy!   We’ll be adding more of their series each week on Mondays! It’s what we wait for each week. The Nomadic Family Kids On Being Filmed- NoManic Monday Movie

The Nomadic Family Kids On Being Filmed- NoManic Monday Movie

So, what’s it like for a kid to be on the big screen? How do our kids feel about having a video camera shoved in their faces, also during stressful breakdowns and low, low moments? For me, when I am personally filming them, they scream at me the second I whip out the camera [ a bit over-enthusiastically when someone is injured or upset]; for the film crew, they’ve been a bit more patient, and yet, still feel totally comfortable to say, “Angela, turn off the camera” or “Ima, tell them that I don’t want to be recorded right now!” We choose to put our lives out there for the world to see, and yet, we still want to give our kids the right to reserve their privacy in our public lives. It’s a cute rundown of how they feel and what it’s like to be filmed. Tell us what you think. We’ll be adding more of their series each week on Mondays! It’s what we wait for each...
