NoManic Monday Movie- At the Airport (Both Satanic and Beautiful)

NoManic Monday Movie- At the Airport (Both Satanic and Beautiful)

And for your total smile of the day viewing pleasure, our children (we’re shameless) attacking people and taking great joy in it. Of course parental supervision comes up. Naturally, there should be a responsible parent around, but thing is (and this is a big thing) there ain’t. We couldn’t stop laughing over this one. Enjoy!   We’ll be adding more of their series each week on Mondays! It’s what we wait for each week. When we were in Greece in miserably confused, we waited for our Monday picker upper, and while stressing out at Kobi’s parents’ house, it was the Monday Movie from The Nomadic Family Project that grounded us! LOOOOve these guys TO DEATH!!!! They just started their second Kickstarter Campaign to fund recording our return and acclimation back into ‘normal’ Israeli life. Can you help share their project loves? If you enjoy seeing the making of the documentary movie and all the fun stuff that they catch of us as we live our ‘normal’ lives, you may also enjoy: Nomadic Family Parenting...

Farting on Flight 4107 & The Best Fart Revenge Story- Mumbai, India- Family Travel Blog

Farting on Flight 4107 & The Best Fart Revenge Story- Mumbai, India- Family Travel Blog

There are few things one could be more proud of then a high-quality fart. This is perfect airplane etiquette, and one sharing moment that clearly should go down in the books under ‘classic’. Yes, poor flight 4107 had to face me farting shamelessly for the entire duration of the flight. This is clearly one of those things I will take to my death bed, lamenting the suffering I brought unto my fellow man by consuming that God-awful almost-pizza thing in the Goan airport. The following video does not show me actually F-A-R-T-I-N-G live as that would be tasteless AND clearly draw too much attention to a situation I was simultaneously causing and pretending was not taking place. For you viewing pleasure, I present one too many TMI-farting confessions in the Mumbai airport bathroom stall, including one that Kobi WILL KILL ME FOR SHARING! And bonus-time, bonus-time, bonus-time: I’m giving you four other really funny fart videos just to make you blush/laugh/shake your head at how inappropriately un-PC I am....

Blacks, Blood, and BLS International Indian Visa Office- Houston, Texas

Blacks, Blood, and BLS International Indian Visa Office- Houston, Texas

So I sit here at the BLS International office and smile so deeply into my soul. First of all, I’m joyfully impressed that it is not the jungle I assumed it would be. There are no blood stains of the carpets, no recently added skulls hanging from the ceiling, and, yes, sigh, there are no hysterically pleading patrons pulling out their eyes and groveling on the sandy gray carpet for sweet asylum. Yes, I’m a full hour early for my 9:40 appointment and only now are people lining up, but, already the sun filtering though the windows, the soft tones of patient voices all around me, and feelings in my heart in this spacious office fill me with deep peace. I think of the kindly, gentle-toned, black man who helped me get untangled in the parking garage and the sugar-sweet black gentleman who bowed and waved his hand for me to enter the elevator before me as he kind-kindheartedly escorts me to the visa office. His smile, as he...

Day 2- Our 1st Waterfall & Kobi’s Lap Dances- Family Travel Blog, Annapurna with Kids, Nepal

Day 2- Our 1st Waterfall & Kobi’s Lap Dances- Family Travel Blog, Annapurna with Kids, Nepal

So you’ve asked how was the Annapurna Circuit and I gave you a prelude after we had seen the worst, the scariest, and all the near-death experiences playing in a reel before us. And now, slowly, I am opening up these videos, all of the live moment-by-moment footage I took with our family of 12 (film crew and porters), and then 10 (lost a porter) , and then as a tribe of 18 (with eight horses). I am beyond honored to relive, remember, and re-cherish all parts that made this a life-changing event for us all. And so, without further ado… here’s just one video that shows adventure, how inappropriate and sexually immature my Kobi is, and how adorably in-shock and great the film crew is! Surendra the Porter Saves Us from Death, That 1st Waterfall & Kobi’s Lap Dance- THE. V-I-D-E-O!    Surendra The Hero He’s totally wild, more wild than the other four porters put together, and ironically, he was our wise ruler. He guided and literally...

After 18 Months in Asia- Three Oddities of the West & My Little Holiday- Houston, Texas

After 18 Months in Asia- Three Oddities of the West & My Little Holiday- Houston, Texas

“Are you doing the no deodorant Indian thing?” “How about this great perfume?” as she sprays my neck. “Toilet paper goes in the toilet.” “Good God, girl, where the hell are your shoes?” I am shocked how much I don’t fit in, how I’ve changed after eighteen months in Asia, and how funny it is not to know some social norms that I used to live by. Are you ready for three oddities of the Western world? I’m on a holiday alone in Houston, Texas and it’s really raw.  The US in Twelve-Minutes We loved our time as a family in the US, and adored our time in the RV! We’re still drooling over the idea of a USA holidays family adventure again. Kobi made a great video that I thought I could just stick in here before I tell you the odd stuff that I still can’t totally get. It’s a great video Kobi! (The post Twelve Minutes has great pics too!) Three Oddities of the Western World...
