Where will Heathrow Express Take You?
One of the most important things once you arrive at Heathrow Airport in London is getting the right transport service to get you to central London or to your destinations. For common reasons such as saving time, convenience, accurate schedule and enjoyable vacation, the best option would be to hire your own car and drive out of the airport. However, you may be traveling on a budget and find it expensive to rent a car. There are other great options available at the airport that you can choose from. One of the most preferred ways of travel from the airport is the Heathrow Express. Other means of travel include taking a taxi, shuttle or even buses and coaches.
The Heathrow Express is considered to be the most predictable and preferred passage going to London. The Paddington railway station that offers transit train service is located only 15 minutes from the various Heathrow terminals. There are two main Express stations at the airport; one situated at the terminals 1, 2 and 3, and the other at terminal 5. For those traveling on a tight schedule, the Heathrow Express is a liable means of transport that will help you keep time. Heathrow Express Routes
The trains usually leave the stations in every 15 minutes. The distance from the Paddington station to the first three terminals at the Heathrow airport takes only 15 minutes. It takes about 21 minutes to get to the 5 terminal. Those arriving on the 4th terminal are provided with buses and shuttles to take them to the 1st terminal. Paddington train station is located at the west end of London and is also well connected to rest of the regions of the city by buses, taxi and even the London underground. The London underground goes through District, Bakerloo, City lines, Circle and Hammersmith. The station is also found a short distance form Hyde Park, Bayswater shopping center and even Little Venice. Prices and fares
There are various types of tickets that are available for the Heathrow Express. These tickets include Express Saver for £21, Express Standard for £26, Business First for £29, Express Carnet for £189 and the Business First Carnet for £261. The ticket prices of the first three types of ticket are not inclusive of the return trip. However, there are great discounts when purchasing a ticket that includes the return trip. You get to buy the Express Saver ticket at £34, the Express Standard at £39 and the Business first at £52. The carnet tickets include fares for 12 single trips at the price of 9 trips.
