The bodyguard is a romantic thriller. It features a former secret service agent by the name Frank Farmer, who turns into a bodyguard. He gets hired to protect a superstar by the name Rachel Marron, from the threat of a stalker who is unknown. They both expect to be in control and alert but not to fall in love. This is one show that you cannot fail to watch with your spouse or fiancé when you visit London.

Les Miserables

It is the world’s longest running musical. Over 65 million people have watched it in over 42 countries across the world. The show has won 100 awards and continues to remain popular in London theatre shows. The show features Jean Valjean and an inhuman policeman by the name Javert. The discounts for London shows for the family tend only to be during Kids Week, which is just about to come up in August – Adults pay full price and children go free… but then again if you have a family of 2 and 2 that is the same as everyone paying half price which you can for a lot of the year at TKTS or through theatre and hotel packaging companies when you buy everything at the same time. School groups get even greater discounts so it is a great idea to persuade your school to organise a theatre trip – check out whilst you are looking for theatre breaks!
