Full Body Pampering- Skin Day Spa Houston [Photo Essay]
After the near-deaths of Annapurna Circuit, the brown water of Kathmandu, and bunches of raw joy in India, I got to Houston knowing, knowing, knowing that I wanted to be spoiled. I wanted my mom to take me out to nice restaurants (done), I wanted to play Kalukee card game late into the nights (done), and I wanted to get some pampering done in a spa (done!). So, Groupons introduced me to Donna, Jessica, and crew at SKIN DAY SPA Houston and it was love at first sight.
The ladies are unbelievably kind, funny, and amazing; the treatments were divine, and I walked away lasered, oiled, rubbed, and cleansed whole body! Yes, whole body pampering. And even got some delightful, fragrant soaps and facial products. So, check it out and yes, I am that lucky.
Enjoy this photo essay of beauty, grace, and good well-deserved professional pampering. The pre-Christmas season is so joyful and bright in Houston and you’ll see that in their holiday decor as well (which I adored almost as much as energy in that place, the cat, the people, and the treatments). Welcome to Skin Day Spa Houston.
And so, loves, that’s the story, the entire beautiful pampering one. Skin Day Spa Houston I cannot say thank you enough for the love and spoiled little princess feeling you gave me. It was an honor to be your guest, and an even greater blessing to now call you friends. Donna, we have many years of good talks to do love. Thank you for the ‘put the little box on the side’ bit. It pulled me through a huge hurdle love.
My greatest love to you girls,

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Insanely unorthodox, embarrassingly honest, and on her path towards spiritual awareness, Gabi Klaf blogs about her family’s ups and downs in their now third year of non-stop budget world travel. This family of five has lived with an indigenous tribe in the jungles of Ecuador, hitchhiked throughout the world, danced with drunk Vietnamese at weddings, and hiked the entire Annapurna Circuit trek with a documentary film crew in tow. Gabi writes about the untold sides of family travel life, those moments that take your breath away, adventures and mishaps while globetrotting, and how bits of her soul remain in this small town and off the side of that river. She is a guitar-stumming, energy-healing, ADHD wind-loving scaredy cat. Hugely romantic, tantalizingly sweet, and hysterically funny, Gabi Klaf represents a rare Rubik’s Cube of family world adventure.
We’re out doing crazy stuff and making our dreams come true, every single one of them, and a few more that sort of flew into our mouths while we were smiling into the wind.
