Lost World of Tambun and Spa- One Amazing Family Attraction in Malaysia [Photo Essay] – Part One
Someone asked us the other day what they could do with their kids in Malaysia? Having spent three and a half months loving the people and frolicking in the beauty, attractions, restaurants, and joys of Malaysia, we feel we have a really good, long, detailed answer. And yet, one place our kids keep referring to is Lost World of Tambun. The park is amazing, the food was unreal, the spa was a true joy, and the history and cultural aspects of the park transformed ‘just another water/theme park’ into ‘a living breathing, well-rounded fun and educational family experience.’
We loved our days at the park and spent the remaining two months in Malaysia having the kids beg us to go back. So, without further ado, enjoy our little photo essay of part one of ecstatic fun at The Lost World of Tambun and Spa.
And that is only the first few hours in the park…. I know! Sometimes not living in the grubby backpacker world is bliss. Part one of our Lost World of Tambun and Spa adventure was sooooo excited to arrive and Mom and Dad being pampered as we really deserved it! Part two, three, and four are just unreal crazy fun in the water and out, and some of our favorite foods in Southeast Asia.
Have you been? You should, you should, you should! You will thank me forever for this recommendation.
Lost World Shamila dear, thank you for having us and spoiling us. The treat was all ours, the review is our opinions and experiences alone and we’re honored to share them. Thank you.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Insanely unorthodox, embarrassingly honest, and on her path towards spiritual awareness, Gabi Klaf blogs about her family’s ups and downs in their now third year of non-stop budget world travel. This family of five has lived with an indigenous tribe in the jungles of Ecuador, hitchhiked throughout the world, danced with drunk Vietnamese at weddings, and hiked the entire Annapurna Circuit trek with a documentary film crew in tow. Gabi writes about the untold sides of family travel life, those moments that take your breath away, adventures and mishaps while globetrotting, and how bits of her soul remain in this small town and off the side of that river. She is a guitar-stumming, energy-healing, ADHD wind-loving scaredy cat. Hugely romantic, tantalizingly sweet, and hysterically funny, Gabi Klaf represents a rare Rubik’s Cube of family world adventure.
We’re out doing crazy stuff and making our dreams come true, every single one of them, and a few more that sort of flew into our mouths while we were smiling into the wind.
