Human Kindness and Humility in Life On The Road, Also In Big Management- Pillows and Toast Hostel, Singapore

So, you think hostel owners and big bosses work all day? No, as evident in these paparazzi shots, Pillows & Toast Hostel owners play Monopoly with children, and bribe the kids for property and Monopoly loans with real ice cream. Totally unethical. Totally appreciated.

God, we miss these guys and all of the staff at Pillows and Toast. All of them loved us and let the kids literally take over the front desk. And they didn’t even yell that much when we broke the fridge! (Kobi did it!) We love Singapore!!!!

An adorable video life on the road, here, at Pillows and Toast, Sinagpore. We miss them.We do.

We’d love to have you join us in every way that floats your boat. subscribe to the blog, Google + , our YouTube channel, and Twitter,

  1. I love that you are writing about all of the places you have stayed. So when we get over to Asia (maybe next year), we will “know” the people and the places. Thanks!

    • heidi. i adore you dear. can’t thank you enough for being here, every step of the way. thank you, and if maybe we can make the world already full of friendly faces before you set out, what a blessing. i was terrified by leaving all the people i love for strangers, and you are reminding me of that. 🙂 thank you heidi. gabi
