So many magic moments that I feel so blessed to get to capture. I know they happened back home too, but, for some reason (one being, that I don’t have to work or think about money during every waking hour) I notice them more on the road. I notice the sunsets (for my mind is not typically fogged up by twenty other things to do or worry about); I talk to people (cuz I don’t have to hurry off to the next thing to do); and I notice details (like the taste of the tomato, the mother holding hands with her down syndrome daughter, the words people chose to use).

Sometimes, you just want to push pause, you want that moment, that afternoon to stay just as it is; still, never fleeting. And sometimes, when you are in that moment, you spend too much energy worrying that it may just about be over. So, here’s a moment, and here’s me doing my best to be just in that moment.

As a traveler, I feel I just have more time to observe, to reflect, to enjoy. And so, here on this picnic; I am loving, loving, fully loving the unbelievable connections we all formed with each other. Same crowd from the spontaneous dance party , same love, same energy, same life-joy.

Enjoy our photos of unreal evening of unreal friends, unreal sunset, and unreal food. What made is all unreal? Us. All of us, together, being fully present at the moment. Being in love with each other, the sun, the air, the moment. Ah, the depths my soul is growing in.

    • Oh Yael. Wow. To think that maybe, just maybe, something I am saying here inspires you, you my teacher/student of the soul. Wow. I am so honored and touched and reinspired by your taking what resonates true in your soul and incorporating it in your life. I love you Yael, you know that. i love you very much, I love your girls and Ami, I love your step-mom and dad, I love your comments, your friendship, your home, your hair, your being in all of those classes and learning so much, so honestly, so openly. you are amazing my dear. and you are your very own third eye, i am merely a reflection for you. what an honor. i love you. gabi

  2. This is amazing to see, all the pictures and the film! I will always remember this day and I will go back to that place in my mind when things are getting to much around me here back in busy Sweden. I hope I will get to see you some day. And if you and your family ever feel like going to Sweden, you are most welcome to stay at my place as long as you like. In the summer my family lives in our summerhous and the house in the town is empty 🙂 You are such a inspiration Gabi. I wish you all the best <3 <3 /Sara

    • Sara love!!! wow, you wrote. you wrote! YOU WROTE! thank you love. that way we just keep our love for each other alive. every time you write, like something, share, comment, reach out- i feel you and i feel your love and i feel it in my chest, and it makes me smile. and then, i reach out to you with my love too, and we share in that frequency. see? right now, as you read this, can’t you feel it? love? isn’t it grand? i also look back on that day, and our dance party and the photos with so much love. you guys, we were all just one amazing family. the casino, the dancing, the dinner, the picnics in park, the cheese sandwhiches, laughing at allan, you guys all loving my kids, orazi’s burps…. all good stuff. we would be honored to come see you in sweden. talk to your parents to see if it can really work out. if we are offered a free place to come live, we usually take it. we may just show up in sweden next summer so let us know…. and then, we’ll really get to see you again. we love you. gabi, kobi, dahnya, orazi, and solai
